The purpose of the Sponsorship Discipleship program is to equip the born again guardians with the word of God so as to help them to grow in their spiritual lives and subsequently help those around them. The program is conducted in two ways one through group discipleship and the other through the one on one. The former is conducted through the support groups once every month per support group and targets the non readers. The latter one uses curriculum from Harvest Ministries which works well with the literate guardians. It has a series of 10 books which covers the entire curriculum.

The program takes nine months and is facilitated by the social workers and guardians who have successfully completed the training. One person can only disciple two people within the suggested period. A Bible is also given to each guardian being discipled. Once a guardian finishes the course, he/she is also expected to disciple two people of his/her choice. A meeting lasts for 2 hours once every week and a social worker or guardian must understand the Harvest ministries curriculum before using it. Discipleship takes place at the client’s home.
