End term event
17th July 2021 was a culmination of this term's Good News Clubs and youth services. The event was held at Gatina Primary which is the current community center. The event was attended by the four Good News club centers; Kawangware day, Good hope, Ng'ando, now Kinyanjui Primary and Gatina primary or community center. The event began at 8am with a brief session of worship after which, the presentations began. The presentations started with poems then songs, skits, acrobatics, fashion shows, art and finally dance. The adjudicators applauded the efforts by the center teachers. They were impressed by the talent showcased by the centers and encouraged the teachers to keep up the good work. Ng'ando emerged first in the dance category for both the Good news clubs and the youth service but did not make the cut for the first position. Good hope clenched the victory for the overall result for the second time. Gatina followed closely to become position two, then Kawangware day and finally, Ng'ando. The adjudicators' comments encouraged the teachers to brush on a few rough edges like synchrony for the dance teams, voice projection for the recitals and scripting for skits. After the celebrations, Children who had done follow up in the various centers were celebrated and recognized for their consistency in learning more about Christ after receiving Him. They were presented with certificates and an appreciation gift pack. They were prayed for and commissioned to be good disciples of Jesus. CCP's Managing Director Stella Mwangi, applauded the centers for turning up and for the lovely performances. She encouraged them to keep up the good work they do in the centers. The event ended at 4pm with announcements and prayer from CCP's spiritual coordinator Billy Mwashi.
