Children VBS ends
9TH August 2019, marked the end of the 2019 August Children's VBS for the two centers; Ng'ando and Kawangware. Both centers held a closing ceremony to celebrate the end of a fun-filled August VBS that saw an average of 218 kids attend the five-day event. The day went on normally with lessons, crafts and games rotation been done. After all the day's activities were done, the centers held a closing assembly to appreciate the children for faithfully attending the VBS, encourage them to come for Good News Clubs in the next term and most importantly, award the winning teams of the games done throughout the week. In Ng'ando, Team apple got 1700 points and won against Team hope that got 1600 points. CCP's Director of Finance Jacquelene Ngige appreciated the efforts by the teams and told them to keep up the competition. She also appreciated them for faithfully attending the VBS and encouraged them to attend Good News Clubs in the coming term. In Kawangware, Team game shakers got 6380 points and won against Team heroes that got six thousand and five points. CCP's Managing Director Stella Mwangi commended the children for a job well done and encouraged them to put into practice what they had learned throughout the VBS. This VBS also saw 80 children give their lives to Christ. We pray that God will provide resources to disciple them into Christís way.
