CCP Staff Prayer Day
Thirty six CCP staff attended the second prayer day with the theme "God's manifestation power" held at St. Luke ACK, Gatina on June 17th, 2019. It was a time to thank God for His doing amongst CCP fraternity in relation to Psalm 92. The session started with Praise and worship where the staff praised and danced for the Lord. Irene Kerubo, CCP's Sponsorship Communication led us through confession of known and unknown sins, praying for personal needs, relatives, families and neighbors in accordance to Matthew 6:25-34 and Philippians 4:11-12. Irene encouraged the staff not to worry about tomorrow but to trust in the Lord always. Thereafter, Mable Mmbone and Faith Wayua led the team through a thanksgiving session in relation to 1st Thessalonians 5:18, Isaiah 12:1-6, Matthew 6:24-34 and Psalm 95. The staff thanked God for various things like; the construction, Sponsors, Board, Office team in their commitment and timeliness communication among others. Afterwards, Teacher Davis and Irene Nambafu read from Genesis 19:1-38. They led in praying for grade eight and grade twelve candidates. On the other hand, Teacher Horace and Benard lead prayers for the GNC's and Youth services to be purposeful and effective to the children and God's intervention and the parent's involvement in the well-being of their children. Pallomeh and Sarah led in praying for the construction at the community center and God's provision throughout the construction period. The session continued with Mable Umali, CCP's Medical Coordinator and Stellar Mmbone led prayers for the high school students and primary school students to be safe during their mid- term break. In the meantime, Alice and Faith led us in praying for the nation and sanity on the roads. Teacher Beatrice and Jackline led from Daniel 9:3-21 in praying for the leaders of the country and security organs. Kefah reminded prayed for the upcoming events and activities at CCP. Jacqueline Ngige, CCP's Director of Finance thanked the staff for being part of the staff prayer day. She shared word from 2nd Samuel 7 through which she reminded us of our duty to God promises and obedience to God's command. Stella Mwangi, CCP's Managing Director encouraged the staff that God will provide and also thanked the staff for participating in the prayer day. In conclusion, Hannah and Geoffrey thanked the Lord for what He will do with faith that our prayers will be answered according to His will and committing all CCP representatives before the Lord.
