CCP'S Ground Breaking Ceremony
CCP's excitement of dreams coming true is beyond the description of words arose to reality during the ground breaking ceremony on June 1st, 2019 at the Community Center. The commissioning was attended by Michael Kisaka, CCV's Outreach Lead Pastor from California USA, CCP's Board Members representatives; Michael Makumi, Pastor Francis Kataka and Andrew. Also present were CCP Academy Pupils, CCP Guardians, CCP staff and the contractors at large. Pastor Francis, CCP's Board Member and a former employee of CCP encouraged the team from the book of Hebrews 11. Pastor Francis brought to understanding that faith is taking God at His work and He is willing and able to do what He has promised to do. "It will take us trusting and believing that God will accomplish what He has promised", Pastor Francis advised. In addition he said that with Faith we are able to see the unseen-able what others can't see, do the undo-able, think the unthinkable, bear the unbearable. Afterwards, Jacqueline Ngige CCP's Director of Finance was appreciative to God for the opportunity for CCP to own a piece of land. Stella Mwangi, CCP's Managing Director took the group through the journey of CCP since inception in June 2004 and was thankful for all the support accorded. One of the steps taken was to fund-raise to own a land through the help of many individuals who went beyond their means like the guardians to support the initiative. Michael Kisaka during the commissioning he read from 1Kings 5:1 instructing that it is time to build the school and clinic. Michael said, "God has given us rest so it's time to build. The kingdom of God will come here in Kawangware through love and healing". Michael Makumi, on the other hand motivated each and everyone to be strong in faith and not to be afraid according to Isiah 41:10. CCP is very grateful for the surprise gift of a check worth $20,000 from CCV for the construction of the school. The check came at the right time that CCP needed for the completion of the 1st phase of the school. In conclusion, Michael Kisaka led the team into the ground breaking and commissioning of the foundation. CCP is indebted to many who have given their gift donation for the CCP Academy Facilities Construction. The Lord bless you abundantly!!!!!
