Working together as a team
Our 13 visitors from Christ's Church of the Valley and 33 CCP Staff were up bright and early for a bonding trip Saturday, August 4th 2018. The surprise destination turned out to be Elsamere Camp on Lake Naivasha, and all were amazed by God's beauty surrounding them at that tranquil place. After enjoying tea and mandazi, we watched a film on the history of Elsamere and then went to play team bonding games at the field. From the various games led by Bernard Education Coordinator and Fredrick Youth and Children Coordinator where we formed three groups namely ' Team Tsunami , Team Patient and Team Bora Uhai' , we learned that working smarter is better than working harder, working together is better than working alone, and keeping the morale up is a key to success! Every team worked hard and Team 'Bora Uhai' emerged the winners of the day. After exerting all our energy for games, we were ready for lunch! The Elsamere staff served us a feast, and after lunch we went for a boat tour to see the hippos and other wildlife around the area. Overall, the day was jam-packed with fun, fellowship, and experiencing Christ in His beautiful nature. We praise God for the safe arrival to and from Naivasha and for the wonderful bonding experience between CCV and CCP!
