APU Team Visits
We welcomed the team from Azusa Pacific University at our CCP Office on Monday, July 9th. They are graduate students or recently graduated from APUís Graduate Program in Psychology. The team of 6 spent two weeks with us in Kawangware, having one-on-one counseling sessions with our CCP Academy students, as well as teaching students at the nearby Gatina Public School in developing healthy habits such as time management, decision-making, and healthy relationship-building. On Saturday, July 14th, 2 APU team members led staff training at the CCP Academy on stress management and avoiding burnout. The staff members addressed their main stressors in life and how they usually deal with that stress. Students and staff alike were deeply impacted by the lessons and one-on-one sessions with our visitors!
