CCP's April Children Vocational Bible School(VBS)Kicks off.
On April 9th, CCP started a one week Children Vacation Bible School (VBS) with the theme 'The Rugged Cross'. The first day attracted 224 children in Ngando and 132 in Kawangware. We expect to minister to about 500 Children in both venues this week. Day one's Bible lesson was Mark 11 focused on Jesus' Triumph Entry into Jerusalem. The objective was to help the children know Jesus as our King who deserves our honor and praise. The memory verse was taken from John 12:13 ‘Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the King of Israel!’ The lesson aimed to help children learn how to honor and praise God in their homes, church and in school. Day two’s lesson was captured from Mark 14:12-26,‘The Last Supper’. It was structured to help the Children understand why Christians celebrate the Holy Communion. The memory verse was taken from 1 Corinthians 11:12b. Children had a wonderful time learning God’s word through songs, crafts, Bible lessons and games. Kindly prayer along with us as we teach God’s word to the children. We desire God’s transformation in their lives. Concurrently our youth and Pre- teens VBS begun on the same day taking place in the afternoons at CCP's Community Center.
