CCP Academy Opens School
One hundred and five CCP Academy students reported back to school on January 3nd 2018 accompanied by their parents after a two months long holiday. Pastor Fredirick Mmbwanga CCP’s Children and Youth Coordinator encouraged them to work towards being more like God by extending God’s attributes to other people this year. Examples of such attributes include love, kindness, mercy, peace and grace among others. This lesson was developed from Genesis 1:27-31 that God created humankind in his own image and likeness. The pastor clarified that the image of God is a not a physical feature but that aspect of co-working with God on earth by doing what he wants done. CCP staff team presented an educational skit on struggles children experience getting ready to go to school after a long holiday. Hilda Mwavishi the School Head Teacher welcomed all the students back to school and introduced the class teachers for each grade. She asked the students to work hard, uphold discipline and abide by the school rules. To wrap up, Stella Mwangi CCP’s Managing Director too welcomed the students back to school and emphasized the need for students to take their studies seriously. She asked the parents present to support their children by ensuring assignments are done and children come to school neat.
