CCP Youth Outreach Service at Bridge International School.
CCP’s Spiritual department conducted an outreach youth service on May 27th of 2017 at Bridge International School in Kawangware. The event which attracted about a 100 young people was an evangelism opportunity for CCP to share the gospel with Kawangware Community youth who are not in our regular programs. This energy filled afternoon service kicked off with a vibrant dance session led by Jacob Omondi, CCP’s Youth volunteer and also a sponsored child. A time of worship and praise through songs followed after which Eugene Mukadi, CCP’s Youth Volunteer with CCP shared the God’s word from John 3:16 ‘‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’’ Eugene emphasized God’s love for people that causes him to reach out with salvation. Pastor Fredrick Mmbwanga, the Children and Youth Coordinator at CCP who co-facilitated the meeting with Peter Njenga a CCP youth volunteer warmly welcomed Bridge International School pupils from 6th to the 8th grade to attend youth services at CCP’s Community Centre in Gatina every other Saturday afternoon. From the warm reception with which the young people received the word of God it was clear they longed for such opportunities. We thank God for 38 youth gave their lives to Christ. At CCP we are confident in God as we plant seeds of his word and water those planted by others to cause growth ultimately leading to a bounty harvest of souls to his Kingdom.
