Nine CCP Youth Workers attend a Prayer Breakfast
On January 30th, 2020 nine CCP staff amongst many Christians congregated for the Youth Workers Prayer Breakfast organized by Nairobi Area Youth Network (NAYNET) at Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM), Valley road. The theme of the day was derived from Psalms 133:1 "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity"!(NIV). The aim of the meeting was for all youth pastors and workers to unite in prayer on behalf of youth ministers and young people in the nation of Kenya. Thereafter, the group went into a time of prayer for the nation and its economy, youth and children, church and its ministers among other prayer points. The group then divided into sections to pray according to the challenges faced in different areas of service. In addition, there was corporate worship with members of the Body of Christ as they spur one another toward love and good deeds. John Musimi, a youth pastor at CITAM read from 2 Timothy 2:3 encouraging the ministers of the gospel to be strengthened in the Lord no matter the hardship encountered. John gave four lessons learnt from the scripture being; Hardship endured, Enemies to be engaged, Entanglement to be avoided and lastly an enlisted to be pleased. In conclusion John admonished all believers to look to Jesus who endured hardship and despised shame.
